Cut yarn and weave in ends!

Time to work on the band using white yarn.

Ch. 10

Row 1: HDC in 3rd chain from hook and each chain across.

Row 3: Chain 2, turn. HDC in same stitch and each stitch across.

Row 4- 40: Repeat row 3.

** Add extra rows if adjusting size **

Chain 1. Evenly single crochet across the top of the newly created band. This will make it easier to sew together in the end.

Cut yarn and weave in ends!

Attach the two pieces together with a single crochet. Be sure to attache them together on the back side so you won’t have a noticeable ridge on the front. You could also just sew the two pieces together if you prefer.

For the straps I attached my yarn to the top, 8 stitches on either side from the center. You can find the center easily by locating the stitch with 2 double crochets and counting 8 either direction. I chain 145 for the straps. This can be adjusted to your choosing. I like the backs that cross and lace up so this is what I chose.
